COVID-19 Statement from ABC Dentistry for Children

In our practice the health of your child is important to us. We follow strict guidelines set out by the Australian Dental Association, and Queensland Health. We will ensure that only healthy people can enter our rooms, and limit the number of people who can attend for an appointment. As we all know and understand, the less people the better in smaller spaces. Our child dental surgery rooms are large and can accommodate 4 persons comfortably under current guidelines.

We have modified our systems at reception to reduce touching of unnecessary items. Our personal protective equipment use will vary in accordance with the recommendations at any given time. In the surgery we have installed an inline fan to ensure that no air from the surgery enters the general circulation in our practice.

We ask that nobody attends our practice if there is any sign of illness. Unfortunately if we get sick we need to remove our staff from the dental clinic. which then impacts on our ability to provide timely and appropriate Sunshine Coast child dental care. If we can all work together we will get through all of this.
